Original photo-illustrated paper-covered board box (337 x 337 x 94 mm) designed by Dan Graham; light wear and marking. Box contains books, objects, prints, and other materials of various dimensions by 19 artists and a text booklet by Lawrence Alloway. Contents generally near-fine to fine, some wear to the envelope housing Rauschenberg's Revolver, Gormley's Red File Cabinet still with the original lightbulb. A rare complete copy containing the often missing pieces by Tom Gormley and Robert Rauschenberg in a near-fine box.

First edition. This portfolio, as described in the prospectus, represents 'a new concept in editions - a miniature boxed exhibition'. It was produced in conjunction with Artists and Photographs, an exhibition at Marian Goodman, New York, which featured a selection of work by artists who used photographs or referenced the history of photography in their work.
