First edition, signed copy. René Burri spent two years going through his archives with the publisher Dino Simonett. Together they made a selection of previously unseen work, each photograph capturing and revealing at least one ‘strange sensation’. The American writer Barry Gifford is a friend of Burri’s and an admirer of his work, his short story ‘The Big Love of Cherry Lane’, is included as a counterpoint to the photographs.
77 Strange Sensations was issued to commemorate Burri’s 65th birthday.
