Olive cloth-covered boards, spine lettered in black; starting to pull at head of spine as is often the case. Photo-illustrated dust-jacket; creases and wear to spine ends, light wear to folds at spine and flaps. Baltz's signature in black ink to title-page. A very good copy.
First edition, signed. The second part of a loose trilogy begun with The New Industrial Parks... (1974) and concluded with San Quentin Point (1986). 'Park City marks a key moment in Baltz's oeuvre, when he brought his conceptual instincts fully to the fore. He has now moved to a position where he altogether eschews the notion of photography as a distinctive medium, regarding it simply as one unexceptional component amongst many in contemporary art practice.
