Blauwe Maandag documents the running battles between protestors and police during protests against the destruction of the old Nieumarkt area of Amsterdam in order to make way for a transport interchange. It takes its title from the blue uniform worn by the Dutch police. The proceeds from sales of this book went towards publishing a second edition.
