First edition of 850, an association copy inscribed to Peter Fraser and dated in the year of publication. These photographs chart the course of the River Taff in Wales. From the source in the Brecon Beacons, through the Taff valley to the building of the Cardiff Bay Barrage. It allows us to see the transfiguring power of industry, its effect on people’s lives, and a landscape marked by the aftermath of coal production.
