True first edition of 150 copies. Sommerherz is Ehling’s sensitive portrait of childhood and family life, for which she photographed her own children and their friends over a couple of years. Her subjects are often caught during moments of isolation and introspection, and the whole book is shot through with a slight sense of melancholy, reflecting inevitably on the passing of childhood. A trade edition was published by Kehrer the following year.

Only 1 copy of this, the true first edition, in OCLC: Hochschule fur Angewandte Wissenschaften.
