One of a small number of copies thought to be fewer than ten, of an earlier pre-publication version of Alec Soth's House of Coates. This project originated when Adam Broomberg & Oliver Chanarin included a version of it in the ‘Alias’ exhibition that they curated for the 2011 Krakow Photofestival. Broomberg & Chanarin were interested in publishing the project under their own imprint and looked into the possibility of using Blurb’s print-on-demand service. They met with Blurb who arranged to print a few copies in order to show Alec. Subsequently, the book was left available to the public for a short period of time, during which a handful of copies were apparently ordered before it was removed from the website. Soth later published House of Coates under his own Little Brown Mushroom imprint in 2012.
