Printed sheets (297 × 210 mm), pp.27, [1]. Cover sheet printed in blue and red and illustrated with 4 photographs relating to Patty Hearst. Paper lightly toned, small tear and a couple of nicks to first page, small chip to last page, otherwise a crisp, sharp copy. Blankertz's signature in ink to verso of first leaf. A near-fine copy.

First edition, signed. Blankertz describes this, his first publication, as an imitation of Arno Schmidt on the Patty Hearst kidnapping case. The 'Bianca' for whom he dedicated this melodrama in the title, refers to a character in Guido Compax's 1972 comic Bianca Torturata.
