First edition of this xeroxed zine. In an interview with Palais de Tokyo director Jerome Sans in The Golden Age of Neglect (2002), Templeton discusses the influence of skateboarding on his artwork: 'I would not be doing anything at all if it were not for skateboarding. I would probably be a forklift driver at a cardboard box factory who hates his job and life. As a young boy my favourite pro skateboarders, Chris Miller and Mark Gonzales were artists. In photographs you could see they wore cool clothes and had colorful artwork on their boards. It was known that they did their own graphics, so I would go to a skateboard shop to look at their boards like an exhibit. When I started hanging out with other skaters they were all into drawing an punk rock music. I was immersed in the punk scene with all of its flyers and drawings wallpapering my friend's rooms. It was cool to be creative and there was a heavy "do-it-yourself" attitude in both punk and skateboarding. We were the outsiders so we had to create our own world. It was a world of backyard ramps and mixed tapes. We made our own photocopied magazines and built our own obstacles. The influence of those days will always be with me.'
